Rita's realistic style of oil painting can be seen in her large portraits, her tiny miniatures, and every size in between. She captures the likeness and the spirit of the subject in each treasured work of art.

Her formal training came from Henderson State University and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas where she earned a B.S.E. in Art. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and the Miniature Art Society of Florida.
