Portrait Consultations and Fees

The portrait procedure begins with a discussion of the approximate size of the portrait, the mood and the setting. Rita photographs the subject at various locations capturing the desired lighting and expression. Close ups are also taken using the camera and camcorder. After reviewing the results together, the final composition is decided on and a 40% payment is requested. Color studies and sketches are made of specific items to be painted. Rita creates the oil painting in her studio on premium linen canvas. When completed the portrait is delivered with insured satisfaction.
